Honda Is More American Made Than Chevy or Ford, Says Study

With tariffs on imported vehicles here, many are attempting to "Buy American" to ensure they aren't paying inflated pricing due to overseas manufacturing. The question of "which vehicles are really American" is on everyone's mind, and the list of most American-made cars will likely surprise you. With factories in Alabama and Ohio, Honda has the most vehicles in the top 15 spots, with three vehicles in the top 10, easily beating out domestic brands like Ford and Chevy. For the 2025 American-Made Index, top 10 models included the Honda Passport sport utility vehicle, Ridgeline pickup and Odyssey minivan while the Honda Pilot and Honda Accord both placed in the top 15.
